Instead, with deep simplicity, he asked her to transfer the pain from one leg to the other — so that he would not be bound by constant suffering on a single side. Through this story, Mohanji reminds us of the humility and wisdom of true Masters: they do not seek escape from pain, nor indulgence in power, but balance, endurance, and freedom beyond the body.
