Deviations of Mind - a cause to reduced frequency
Description
Mohanji narrates the story of a powerful Master who once enjoyed a divine vision that only he could see. While absorbed in that bliss, a handicapped passerby misunderstood his laughter, thinking it was directed at him. Hurt, the man’s silent curse caused the Master to lose his vision. The Master sought answers from many saints until one advised him to serve every person in the village. He did so, but when he finally came to the handicapped man, the truth was revealed. The man admitted he had felt mocked, and upon hearing the Master’s explanation, he forgave and blessed him. Through this story, Mohanji emphasizes how even a slight deviation of the mind — a trace of ego or insensitivity — can take a seeker away from the path. True maturity lies in humility, sensitivity, and wise handling of siddhis, never allowing them to feed the ego.
